Disconnect other peripherals such as a wireless mouse to account for any possible device conflicts.If you’re using a USB hub, try connecting directly to the motherboard. First, try connecting the webcam to a different port.If the webcam is still not detected, there’s likely a hardware issue.If it’s not listed, select Action > Scan for hardware changes from the menu bar. If it’s listed, the problem is likely software-related, so you can skip ahead to the next solution. Expand the Camera / Imaging Devices sections and check if the webcam is listed here.
